Dear Dacuda

My name is Karthik Mahadevan, a final year student of MSc Integrated Product Design at TU Delft. I am seeking for a graduation opportunity with Dacuda starting February 2017.

Why me?
I am an engineer turned designer, with a strong passion for both deep technology as well as user-centered design. I truly deeply understand the potential in the deep technology of today and can envision its application for users of tomorrow. I have been building products with computer vision and machine learning for while now ranging from simple fun mobile apps to medical diagnosis devices for rural healthcare centres in Uganda.

Why Dacuda?
You have the technology. I have been following your work for a while and am truly impressed by the capabilities of SLAM Scan. And I can also see that you are looking at new applications of these technologies with products like PocketScan.

Here's where I believe I would be able to contribute. I believe my user-centered design abilities, would allow me to look for more applications of the technology, stemming from genuine problems. I can use my experience and expertise to generate ideas, develop concepts, build prototypes, detail functionalities and design for manufacturing. I believe my familiarity with technology, design and manufacturing gives me a unique edge in this regard.

I would love to discuss this in more detail over an interview to explain my vision and explore yours, to reach a synergetic understanding of what can be achieved together. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks and regards,
Kartik Mahadevan
